Carrying on from this week's work on measurement, today the children carried out a practical activity where they had to estimate the capacity of different containers before measuring accurately in millilitres and litres. We had plenty of paper towels to hand!

To end our week looking at British values we have eaten cucumber sandwiches whilst listening to the Beetles yellow submarine.

As part of our learning about the Industrial Revolution we spent today at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. We had a fabulous time exploring the museum before helping to solve the mystery of Who Blew Up The Cotton Mill. 

Today we were introduced to a new app on the iPads.  Why don't you ask us all about it!

Year 6 were very lucky to participate in the 'Seder Meal' (Jewish Passover) thanks to Sia's grandad, Mr Roth, in their R.E. lesson today. 

We explored the story of the ten lepers through recreating the key scenes from the miraculous story.

Yesterday we looked at a collection of replica Roman coins.  We used pencil to sketch the coins and today we have used clay to create our own Roman coins.
