How much will it hold?
Carrying on from this week's work on measurement, today the children carried out a practical activity where they had to estimate the capacity of different containers before measuring accurately in millilitres and litres. We had plenty of paper towels to hand!

As part of our learning about the Industrial Revolution we spent today at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. We had a fabulous time exploring the museum before helping to solve the mystery of Who Blew Up The Cotton Mill.

Year 6 were very lucky to participate in the 'Seder Meal' (Jewish Passover) thanks to Sia's grandad, Mr Roth, in their R.E. lesson today.

Yesterday we looked at a collection of replica Roman coins. We used pencil to sketch the coins and today we have used clay to create our own Roman coins.
