Over the past couple of weeks we have had a special competition to see who could make the best planter with re-used items. We have had lots of fantastic entries and have finally managed to pick our winners. Here are our winners with their prizes.

Winter Gardening
Even though the weather's been cold and snowy we've still been growing salad and veg in the poly tunnel for use in the school kitchen. A delicious accompliment to our school dinners.

Eco Club Feed the Birds
Eco Club had their first meeting of the Spring Term today. One of the activities was making 'fat balls' (a tasty combination of lard and bird seed) to feed the birds through the cold winter months. Messy but great fun!

Over the past few weeks the Eco team have been very busy planting and weeding in the garden. If you get to school early in a morning or wish to have a quiet reflection at the end of the day, pop into the garden and enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature.
