The Busy Bees


We call our Eco Team 'The Busy Bees' as they are always busy working on Eco matters.  We have representatives from every year group on the Eco Team and the whole of our Teaching Assistant staff has responsibility for Eco.  We also have parents who give us lots of help with Eco issues and a nominated Eco Governor.  They have all definitely earned their place in school as Busy Bees!!  Each member is recognised by their Busy Bee badge.  Meet our team members:

As you can see, we take Eco issues VERY seriously at St Stephen's and our Busy Bees work hard EVERY day to educate the whole school on Eco Matters.

 

Each month, we hold an Eco Meeting to discuss issues and and the way forward to keep our Green Flag award. Watch this space for dates of Eco Events coming up:

20th November - Eco Assembly focusing on Energy. During this week, there will be a quiz for children to take part in around the playground with prizes to be won

24th November - Switch Off day when the children can come to school dressed in bright casual clothes to shed a little light around school

6th December - Eco Meeting

6th/12th December - Weather permitting we will hold a whole school litter pick around the community

9th January - We will take part in the RSPB Bird Watch

17th January - Eco Meeting

14th February - Eco Meeting
