Harvest
This morning as a school we went over to Church for our Harvest Church Service.
We carried over our donations and gave them to Mrs Bithell at the alter. These will go towards local food banks in our community. We sang Harvest hymns and watched Y5 lead the service too.
Teddy Bears Picnic
Today we welcomed in the new Reception Class.
We played games, sang songs and of course enjoyed a picnic with our own teddy bears.
Smithhills Open Farm
To conclude our topic about animals we visited Smithills Open Farm where we took part in several activities throughout the day, donkey rides, pets corners, reptile rooms, tractor rides, feeding the animals, watching the cows being milked etc.
Guide Dogs
Today we had the pleasure of meeting the Guide Dog team, Toni and her working dog Quilla.
Toni explained how important her Guide Dog is to her and how some people need a special pet to help them - just like Quilla.
As part of our topic about Animals, we began by sharing pictures and talking…
Easter Bonnet
This week we took part in KS1 Easter Bonnet Assembly.
Saying "HOSANNA", singing and waving our palm leaves.
We also participated in Ester Bonnet Parade, making our own Easter Bonnets for all parents to see.
