A fabulous effort for World Book Day celebration.
Thank you to all the adults for your amazing help and support, the children look amazing!

On Wednesday we celebrated St David's Day.
We took part in lots of Welsh activities, singing and dancing, learning about where Wales is on our world map and then we painted a observational pictures of a bunch of daffodils, the national flower of Wales.

Year 6 went to the army barracks in Bolton to learn more about keeping safe as they become more independent. Workshops were led by the Police, British Transport and Road Safety Team. 

All children in Year 6 were given study books to help them at home. 

Safer Internet Day

In Reception we used child friendly books to portray a message of keeping ourselves safe in person and when we are using tablets, phones, televisions at home too.
 

In English, we are creating our own e-safety posters based on this year’s Safer Internet Day theme!

We enjoyed our Wiggle Worship session today with Steph, learning about what love and kindness could look like and how we could show it to others.
We then had a go at creating our own heart filling it with God's love and our love for God.

To celebrate SCARF day, which is our PSHE scheme, we all wore a scarf. Then we all designed our own scarfs to represent us.

This week we participated in Children's Mental Health Week.
Every day we learnt and practiced a different strategy or technique we could do if we felt sad/upset/angry etc.
All with help from SCARF's Happy Healthy Harold.

We took part in the BBC Teach ‘Safer Internet Day’ Live Lesson

Today for Number Day we spent our morning in forest schools. We participated in lots of natural and inquisitive activities that we could solve problems to. 

We celebrated NSPCC Number Day by taking parts in lots of activities involving number. These included things such as darts, murder mystery, board games, sudoku and much more.
