Easter Baskets
Today some of Year 2 created their Easter baskets. We have planted lots of seeds and are going to be watching them grow over the next few weeks.
Junk Modelling with Mr Shuttleworth
We have helped create a 'junk model rocket' with Mr Shuttleworth as part of a school reusing project. What a good use of unwanted rubbish!

Bikeability
On Thursday 26th February Year 5 took part in day 1 of the Bikeability course. Despite the torrential rain everyone had a successful day and came in smiling!
The children are looking forward to the next part on Thursday 5th March.
Dance Workshop at Kearsley Academy
All Year 5 took part in a morning of dance at Kearsley Academy to start their hours for 2015/16 Children's University.

Super art work
When our Year 5 Class went to Grasmere, we held a competition to decorate wooden spoons to add to the display outside the famous Grasmere Gingerbread Shop. This is the winning design which is now proudly sitting outside the shop. Well done to the pupil who won.
A creepy update!
Well the caterpillars are getting big now - I think they must like the Wigan air! Over the next week I think we may need to transfer them into the butterfly garden. What do you think will happen next to the caterpillars? Think about the story we heard in class about the Very Hungry Caterpillar.…
