This morning we were very excited when we went out to play.  We saw a hot air balloon!  Some of us thought it was Dorothy and Toto with the Wizard of Oz, whilst others thought it was some secret spies.  Either way it was very exciting!

In computing we have been learning about coding.  Mr Choudry asked us to write a set of instructions for a computer to make a bowl of cereal. It was much more complicated than we thought!

We started our first science investigation of the new term this afternoon.  We want to find out whether or not plants really do need water in order to grow.

As part of our learning about Mexico and plants in Science we have decided to grow our very own chili plant. Don't worry - the Anaheim chili pepper is of the mild variety!

Today we have made some cress heads. We have used egg shells and painted on faces on the shell. We put some cotton wool and cress seeds inside to create the hair. Let's see if it works!!!!

Keeping in 'time' with our learning we have been talking about the time in different parts of the world.

Today we went looking for suitable locations for our bird feeders. Each group drew a plan of where they wanted their feeders to go so that Mr.Williams knows exactly where to put them.

Today, those of us who wanted to, will be bringing home some lettuce.  This is no ordinary lettuce, it has be grown by us in our Eco garden! We hope you like it!
