Our Class Charter
Today the children created a set of rules for our classroom to promote a happy working environment. They all signed to show their agreement.
A Fab First Day
We have had a fabulous day in Year 3 today. It was wonderful to see everyone after the summer break and we look forward to all of the great and exciting days to come.
That was Day ONE!
It's only been ONE day but it's been a GOOD day! The children look great in their new uniforms, new shoes and new haircuts and have settled well into school routines. Long may it continue!
Anyone for Cricket? Or Netball? Or Football?
Our new multi-sports frame in the top yard has added to the opportunities for children to practise a range of ball skills during breaktimes. Thank you to Mr Williams and Jimmy Seggie for their hard work over summer to ensure it was ready for the start of the new school year.
Magical Mathematicians
Super maths learning today linking the mathematical reading and writing of number words and numerical representations together including 2 and 3 digit numbers. Well done to Charlie, Taleah, Ava, Alinah, Jacob, Luke, Samuel and Jaylan. Keep up the monster effort.
First Day Reading
We started to look at our first whole class book today!
Just Add Children......
The BUILDING is ready - freshly polished and painted. All we need now is to add a couple of hundred children and the building becomes a SCHOOL. See you all in the morning!
Top Table - Al Fresco
For the final day of the year we decided to dine outside. Well done to last week's Star Award winners.
A Lasting Memory from Year 6
As part of their Leavers' Assembly this morning, Year 6 pupils presented the school with a commemorative plaque, some plants and a cheque for £100 for the Gardening Club. Gone, but not forgotten!
