A quick reminder that all children in Year 6 will need a pair of PE pumps for production. 

On Tuesday night the joint choir of St Stephen's (Kearsley) and All Saints (Farnworth) performed at the Bolton Music Festival at Victoria Hall. Both schools also performed a solo choir song and all three pieces were beautifully presented. Well done to everyone involved.

This morning we have had Melanie (Farnworth Library) in school to launch this year's 'Summer Reading Challenge'.

All children will be bringing home details of how to get involved - are YOU up for the challenge? 

A football themed assembly this morning in church- why not ask your child what it was all about? 

Look at how fantastic our Learning Logs look.  We have had lots of fun sharing them in class.

After looking at the Learning Logs, lots of us had noticed that there's always seagulls at the seaside.  So, we decide to make some of our own!

A great day for outdoor learning in the shade.

Spent a great day with Year 6 at the Gravel Pits on Monday - a bit of pond dipping, a bit of conservation work clearing Himalayan Balsam and an alfresco lunch before a long walk back to school. It was hot but the 'ice pop pitstop' on the way back helped!

After Friday's Leavers Service at Manchester Cathedral, Year 6 got the chance to meet the Bishop of Manchester and pose for a very special photograph.

Well done to all those children celebrating full marks in their challenge. Today we had children tackling number bonds, multiple and division facts for  2, 5, 10, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9s all children have their own individualised challenge to work on and are making great progress. Thanks for all your…

Year 5 have the opportunity to take part in a masterchef competition at Kearsley Academy. Full details are on the letter, which will be sent home tomorrow at the end of the day. For anyone wanting to get a head start with planning their dish, see copy of letter above.
