YES the wind was blowing a bit but apart from that it was like a summer's day on the playground. I walked outside to retrieve a football and was closely watched by four of our finest - shirtsleeves, bandana, the lot. (Everyone was impeccably dressed by the time the bell went).

We are ordering events from ancient Egypt using chronology.

Today we have been learning about how things have changed over time.  We looked at toys and household items. It was lots of fun!

As part of our learning we talked about what we thought dinosaurs might eat. We used Oscars book of dinosaurs and  found out that some eat meat and some eat plants. It was interesting discussing our favourite foods. Why not take at look at what I said.

To be tested Tuesday 31st October.

Today we have been busy learning our 2D shapes.  We had to draw a picture using our shapes and then count how many of each shape we had used.

Keep up the monster effort

A big THANK YOU to all those who couldn't join us for Sunday's ramble but donated generously anyway. We'll get round to opening a very heavy collection bucket later today and add it to the total. Stay tuned.......

When you add in all the children (including past pupils - nice to see you again), mums and dads, nannas and grandads, staff and governors we were over SEVENTY strong for our round trip. Thank you for your amazing support (and stamina!).

What a great turnout from the CHILDREN for Sunday morning's sponsored ramble to Blackleach Country Park. As well as raising funds for Children in Need (we're still counting...) we had a very enjoyable couple of hours in the fresh air.
