Today we made an Equivalent Fractions Museum in our classroom and we had fun working on our exhibits using the Maths skills we have learned this week.

On Wednesday Year One will be going on safari, shorts and t shirts to be worn as we go on the search for the infamous missing meerkats with the sound of African drums resonating around our heads.

This morning in Numeracy we had lots of tricky challenges to solve.  Look at what we had to do!

This morning we received a very special parcel.  We had no idea who it could be from, but we decided it must be from a child as we spotted some spelling mistakes.  Did you see them?

One person was very brave and offered to open it!

All good things come to he who waits - as the saying goes. Took a few minutes away from the office this afternoon and was rewarded with a shot of the adult bird appearing after feeding its young.

This week we are learning about bar charts, pictograms, histograms and line graphs.

We have been interpreting data and representing data using various graphs and charts.

Miss Moss has set us a challenge this week to create a bar chart with real data.

We had fun, but it was difficult staying upright!
