The volunteer gardeners have been busy this morning. Our school sign has been enhanced by the addition of hanging baskets bringing a touch more colour to the place - look out for them when you're next passing.

Well today we have started to make our treasure maps.  We had lots of fun working outside with our special paint, can you tell what we used? Why don't you ask us?

This morning Year 6 are acting out a scenario with the magistrates. Ask them about it, you will be amazed!

We had lots of fun tasting ice cream. We tasted 6 different flavours! In our groups we mixed three flavours to create a new one and then gave it a name. Why not ask me what my group made?

We are really looking forward to our trip to the beach.Today we played with our beach balls. We will have to be careful with them if it is windy on Thursday because we found our that they blow away really easily!

Today we have been talking about electrical power sources. In our groups we sorted a selection of images into three categories,

• Battery
• Mains
• Battery and Main

We looked at each other's work and discussed the similarities and differences.

The fastest on the carpet when asked " The answer is ten what is the question?" Our newest winner quickly wrote on her wipe board twenty subtract ten equals 10 !
