Regular readers of this blog (if there are any!) will know how much I enjoy Friday mornings because the Year 4 Brass Group practise in the hall and make a wonderful sound. Always a great way to end a busy week.

Homophone hysteria
Today we have explored homophones. The children have been very quick to pick this up orally and give examples but the challenge is really on when applying this to their own writing. We have even found a nifty trick to remember which there is there. Their elephant is red = their as in belonging…
