To celebrate the Chinese New Year we have been doing dragon dancing.

The children have planned their experiment and are now making their parachutes to test. Do you think the biggest or smallest parachute will fall the fastest?

Having designed and created our own Greek patterns, we made printing plates and printed our bi-colour designs. 

We have been having a nice, peaceful time with our buddies from Year 6.

This afternoon we have added to the dance we created last week. We worked in small groups to create an 8 beat dance. We then put each dance together to create one big dance.

A massive thank you to Alinah and Megan for continuing their learning at home.

Lots of measuring and converted needed to find out if Y6 or Y5 have the largest perimeter and area... 

To be tested Tuesday 7th February.

In Reception Class we are learning all about the Chinese New Year. We have been watching a video of the celebrations held in Manchester yesterday and here we are on the Great Wall of China!!

In music we are finding out how music is made using different instruments.  We enjoyed making our own instruments and trying them out.
