At the Library
Today we travelled on the number 8 bus to Farnworth Library. We enjoyed listening to stories and joining in with rhymes with Clare.
Wonky Donkey
Oh what fun we had this afternoon. We learnt the Wonky Donkey song. We listened carefully to the words and followed the instructions- we had to freeze every time the donkey shouted hee haw! It was sooooo much fun!
Sally Swing ball
Today we started our phonics programme. We had lots of fun using the Swing ball to help us learn the letter ‘s’.
Swimming on Wednesday
A quick reminder that this Wednesday we start our ten week block of swimming lessons.

Information Books
We are going to be writing a non-chronological report in English so we spent our lesson investigating which features our report must contain.

Today we have started to learn about measuring. We are working with a friend to use cubes to measure different things in our classroom.

Trip to Stockport Air Raid Shelter
Year 4 will be visiting Stockport air raid shelters on the 11th of October. Here are some suggestions of period dress for the day. The children will probably have most of these things as their school uniform. If not normal school uniform is fine. These are not compulsory. Thanks,
