We are busy scrapbooking this afternoon. Thank you to all parents who sent in photographs and bits and bobs for their children to use. 

Well done to this week's winners!

On playground duty this morning, Year 6 introduced me to the latest dance craze sweeping the nation (or Kearsley at least). Apparently it's called the Swish Swish (or the Floss) and it's really cool!

I am now officially 'down with the kids'.

As part of our English work we have created reports on our outfits and then performed on the ‘cat-walk’.

We are enjoying our Roman Workshop so far this morning. 

Don't forget to ask your child about their workshop tomorrow afterschool as they learn about all things fire related in 1666. I can't wait.

We have started using a brand new resource that launched this week. There are lots of catchy songs to develop your childs knowledge of the KS1 curriculum presented by familiar faces from across the BBC network with being active a core element in each video. The children really enjoyed it.
