Mexico Day in Year 3
At St Stephen's we are always looking to making the curriculum come alive - so we held a Mexico Day to celebrate the 'Day of the Dead'! This is a very important festival in Mexico. The children looked brilliant and had a great day learning about all aspects of the culture.

Cricket Fun!
We really enjoyed our first cricket lesson with Tim this morning! We played lots of team building games and then Tim showed us how to hold a cricket bat properly! We just can't wait for next week now!
The Great Fire of London
Over the past couple of days we have been working with a friend to sequence and retell the events from the Fire of London.

Year One Are Being Arty!
We have been looking at some of the work of Keith Haring today. He is the artist that we will be inspired by this year!! We've found out that he was a pop artist from America and loved to draw and paint people using bright colours!

Diwali Assembly
As you know, we celebrate diversity at St Stephen's - 'Everybody Different - Everybody Equal'. This morning we learned about Diwali - the Hindu Festival of Light to mark their new year.
