We are busy working on our 3D artwork.  We are working with our friends to see what we can make with tissue paper, plant pots, straws and lolly sticks!

Today we will be bringing home our very own Frozen Time Mat to support us in learning to tell the time. Today we have been problem solving using an hour later, an hour after, and some of us on the more challenging half an hour before and after. 

In maths, we have been finding areas of compound shapes.

Well done to our newest mega maths medal winner for really improving in his time challenge.

This week in Numeracy we are learning how to tell the time.  We are currently working on o'clock and half past times.  Look at some of our super work!

Today we have had some very special visitors.  They were really kind and told us all about their jobs, we even found out about the special, gold chain they wear.   The Mayor said that we are the most important people in Kearsley and Bolton, we think he's right, do you?!

Today in class we used our Anglo-Saxon research to construct our very own settlement. We used cardboard, hay, wood shavings and lollipop sticks to build them. Why don't you have a look at an example in the school entrance?

Sunday morning saw children and staff from St Stephen's walking in sunny Ainsworth.Beautiful countryside, lots of wildlife, blue skies and fresh air - why not join us next time?
