This morning in assembly we listened to Chris from Bolton Council who showed us which bin to put our waste in. Otley the elephant also tested us to see if we had been listening.  

The children really helped Ottley with his recycling dilemmas.

Chris helped the children to recognise which bin could be used to recycle which material. We will use all this knowledge on Friday as we take part in the Queens big clean, cleaning our local environment so it is fit for a Queen!

Every Friday without fail - I'm joined by the previous week's Star Award winners. It's always the best lunchtime of the week!

This weeks super spellers are ...Connie, Astrid, Cayden, Tayla, Lola, Libby B, Jake, Libby S, Robyn, Evie, Harley, Ruby D, Aidan, Nathan and Julian. Wow an amazing half of the class gained full marks. Jack did amazingly well too. Keep up the monster effort!

Our star this week is reading more challenging books and reads a chapter each night. Keep up with this approach as it really helps to develop your understanding of the text.
