Well done to all this weeks challengers.

Year 6 captivated by the online tour of William Shakespeare's childhood home as part of Shakespeare Week, courtesy of 'The Shakespeare Trust'. Why not ask them if they enjoyed it and what they learnt. 

Last Friday's sponsored run for the children of Serrekunda School in Gambia was great fun and everyone gave 100% effort to complete as many laps of the obstacle course as possible. The sponsor money has started to arrive in school and hopefully we can collect it all in over the next few days and…

It's a double themed week this week. We'll be getting all scientific (including visits by Year 5 and Year 6 to the Kearsley Academy science labs - which they really enjoyed) and a little bit Shakespearean between now and Friday.

The children then started to investigate everyday acids and alkalis. Do you know the colour for neutral? Ask Year 5 if you are unsure!

The children were introduced to the pH scale by Mr Chester, the Science teacher at Kearsley Academy.

We are at Kearsley Academy, as part of science week, to investigate acids and alkalis using universal indicator. 

We had a great time completing our 'Run for Serrekunda'.  We definitely had lots of fun and got very muddy!
