Twisting and Turning!
As part of our Maths work we have been learning about clockwise and anti-clockwise turns. We have also been trying to understand a full turn, a half turn and a quarter turn.
Looking After the Eco Garden
Year 1 have been trying hard to look after the seeds we planted. They have now started to grow, don't they look fantastic!

This afternoon we went onto the playground and chose something to sketch. We made sure we added lots of detail to our sketches.
Name Those Bones!
We have been learning about our skeleton today and singing a song to help us to remember the name of our different bones.

Planting in the Eco Garden
We have planed runner beans and cucumbers in our area. We will use them to investigate as part of our living things science unit.
Letters to Serrekunda
This morning we have been writing the final draft of our letters to our new pen friends from our link school in The Gambia.
