Well done to last week's Star Award winners - we dined in style!

The children are having fun trying out some new games and learning the rules.

During our special Remembrance Assembly this morning EVERYONE (from Reception to Year 6) observed the two minutes silence brilliantly. (It's a long time to stand still and quietly when you're only four!) Well done to everyone.

We visited the Schoenstatt Shrine on a pilgrimage today in our R.E. Lesson.

The children have been thinking about peace and what gift they would give to create a peaceful world.

Spellings to be tested Friday 18th November.

Today we have been learning all about peace and remembrance.  We watched some videos, looked at pictures, wrote special remembrance words, coloured poppies and joined in with a 2 minutes silence in our school assembly to remember the bravesoldiers and people from the wars.

This morning we have been talking about the soldiers who went to war and the reason why we wear our popppies. We have made some beautiful pictures using balloons and dipping them into red and black paint.
