Our 'Scale' Solar System
Today we combined topic and maths. The children had to use ratios for scale and calculate and measure distances using a scaled system. 1 sheet of toilet roll was equivalent to 16,000,000km! We used different size fruits to represent the planets. Earth was a grape!
