It's All About the Eggs!
If it's the Wednesday before the Easter break, it must be the 'Decorate an Egg' Competition. I never cease to be amazed by the creativity of the KS2 children (and their parents) and this year is no exception. THANK YOU for all your support for this popular tradition at St Stephen's - the display…
Sharing Letters
We are reading and sharing our replies from the letters that we sent to Serrekunda last year.
Mini Water Worlds
As part of our topic on changing materials, we have been learning about the water cycle. We have created our own mini water worlds and are going to take them home to observe the different stages of the water cycle.
Eggsellent Eggs!
Year 5's fantastic entries into the KS2 decorate and egg competition. Lots of super ideas and hard work! Well done to everybody who took part.

Topic this week!
This week in topic we have been using our knowledge about Anglo-Saxon Gods and Goddesses to create our own board games and crosswords. We then moved around the class so that everyone got a chance to play each other's games. Everyone had lots of fun!

Singing in the Sun!
Tuesday is Choir Day and they're sounding splendid! The sun is shining outside and the sounds drifting in from the hall make the world seem a very happy place. It's been another good day at St Stephen's.......
Spellings
To be tested 1st Tuesday back (25th April).
We decided to continue learning spellings, after a brief discussion.
England rugby team eat your heart out!
Year 5 have had their final session with the coaches from Bolton Rugby Club, who have been visiting us every Monday for our P.E lesson. The children have learnt a lot and really enjoyed playing rugby. We might even have a few future England players in the class!
