Year 2 have a new favourite hobby ... the mega maths challenge and opt to do this during self selection! A massive well done to todays successful children ... Megan, Rebecca, Oliver T, Oliver P, Charlie, Ava, Alinah, Blake, Taleah, Cruz and Isla.

This week Miss Clegg was so impressed with our handwriting that everyone got the Handwriting Blog Star award.  Well done to us! 

This afternoon we are busy making a poncho to go on display in our classroom.

This morning we have been performing poetry.

Wow an awesome flock of parrots created following step by step instructions.

The children have sketched a parrot for our tree of knowledge to support our reading comprehension skills. Jabber the reteller helps to remind us that we may need to retell the story after reading it.

Not only is our outdoor learning environment popular with children it's also proving to be a big hit with our new family of robins (all five of them!).

Well done to these twelve superstars who achieved their maths fluency challenge, not quite half the class but definitely more than yesterday. 

The children had lots of fun playing in the magic mud. They said they were the Smurfs!!!

This morning we have been outside using our senses to write descriptive sentences.

On Friday 4 children will be coming home with one of our new home school Bean Bag bags packed with lots of healthy, family fun. The bags need to be returned by Wednesday to allow other children to access them. There is provision for you and your child to write about the activities carried out,…
