Today we visited Miss Stokes and learned about Claude Monet.  We had lots of fun making our own pond and water lilies.

Today we have started to learn about Monet and his artwork. We have started to make our own Water Lilies work by colour mixing to create a pond.

Today we have been learning about Van Gogh.  We experimented with working in a similar way and tried to recreate his Starry Night painting. 

We took part in a watercolour masterclass this morning and learned how to paint a beach scene using watercolour paint. It was great fun!

We have learned about Papel Cortado today and decided to have a go ourselves. It was a lot trickier than we thought but we all agreed that the bunting does make out classroom look quite colourful and Mexican.

Year 5 taking part in their workshop with Mr Templeton. The children are painting their own water colour version of Tower Bridge. 

This morning we have been painting penguins using watercolours with Mr Templeton. He helped us to create our beautiful pictures by talking us through it step by step. You will be absolutely amazed when you see your own child's artwork!!
