Today we have been working with a friend to identify different materials around us.  We have then been looking at how these materials are used and what can be made from them.  Why not ask us about what we found? 

A great start has been made in Year 6 and the children are really enjoying our daily class read! They are beginning to empathise with certain characters as we develop more knowledge about them.

Today we had our first Buddy session with Year 6.
We enjoyed showing them around our classroom and asking them lots of questions.
Next week in Buddy time we will be choosing a book from the library to take home and share with our family.

This morning’s class assembly has been all about SCARF (linked to our PSHE scheme). 

We have created our own stain glass windows to brighten up Y4!

We have had a wonderful first day in school and we have also been very brave trying new things and learning a new routine.
