Autumn Walk
To delve deeper into our topic of Autumn Changes we looked into abscission - the process of leaves falling off the trees.
We went on an Autumn Walk to look for different types of leaves. We also used these within our Maths lesson to sort the leaves into different categories.
Year 1 have everything under control in PE
Year 1 are making great progress with the tuition from our expert PE coaches.
Sign Language
In our Science lesson this afternoon, we have been using sign language to communicate having talked about how we hear and how those who are not as fortunate can still communicate.
Chinese Art
We started our new art unit today. Here we are analysing and learning about a range of different examples of Chinese art. The children really enjoyed this activity.
Harvest Festival
This morning, Year Five lead the Harvest Festival Worship in Church and were MAGNIFICENT. Well done!!!

Harvest in Church
Today we went to Church for the first time for Year 5's Harvest Assembly.
We donated our food items and gathered them on a table.
We were heart-warmed by the amount of donations from our school and community that will be shared across local food banks and charities in Kearsley.
Our First Forest School Session
