Year 4 Blog

We had our first brass lesson today. While Mrs Raisbeck taught us to play a pbuzz (a plastic instrument with a mouthpiece), Mr Raisbeck checked which instrument we will be playing this year.

We had our first P.E lesson today. We talked about the different skills needed to do well in sport.

In our SEAL lesson this afternoon we talked about our favourite things and compared what we like with others in the class. 

We started to look at our first whole class book today!

We have really enjoyed using the new art resource box!

We have had a super day today! We began with plenty of art including printing, collage and 3D junk modelling. We created a fantastic superhero city including a bank, hotel, Tesco and a free car park!

This morning we have been developing our problem solving skills. We worked together to try and solve this problem.

Mrs Hall went with the easy option...

and was easily beaten by the class!

This morning we have had a samba vibe in our music lesson. To warm up we sang Ai Caramba Samba. It would be a great song for the Rio Olympics!

This afternoon we went onto the playground and chose something to sketch. We made sure we added lots of detail to our sketches.

This morning we have been writing the final draft of our letters to our new pen friends from our link school in The Gambia.
