This morning we have been writing messages for a thank you card. We can't tell you who it is for though, it's a surprise!
Snowball
This morning we have played a game called Snowball. We begin with a one letter word and increase the word by one letter each time. We managed to get up to a nine letter word in two minutes.
Roman Workshop
We have had a fantastic morning at our Roman Workshop. We learned all about Roman Soldiers and life in Rome.
Fable Authors
We are very busy this morning writing the first draft of our fables.

This morning we have worked with our partners to plan a fable including two animals and a moral.
Lines
This morning we have been hunting for horizontal, vertical, parallel and perpendicular lines.
Sentence Type Detectives
This morning we have been practicing the two new sentence types from this week. We wrote one sentence type on our board and found someone else in the class. We then guessed which sentence type the other member of the class had written.
Adjectives and Adverbs
This morning we have been practising the 'adverb from adjective' sentence type. To create this sentence we needed to describe a person and change the adjective to an adverb to describe an action.
Computing
This morning we have continued to learn about coding. We had to follow instructions to create two moving characters. Once we had followed the instructions we could add to the code to make our characters do more.
