This morning we have been writing a review of The Twits by Roald Dahl.

This morning we have created compound sentences using conjunctions to join two simple sentences.

Today we have been using a computer program called Scratch to create a moving scene with two characters.

This morning we have been practising our mental addition and subtraction with a game called 'Pig'. First to 50 wins!!

We have had our brass lesson in the hall this week. We can now all play the notes C and D.

This morning we have been punctuating dialogue using inverted commas, capital letters and commas. We needed to add our own reporting clause to the speech.

This week in P.E we have started our football lessons. We have been practising attacking, defending and dribbling.

Following our lesson about the twits today we have been editing our writing ready to put on display in the hall.

This morning we have been doing some Roald Dahl style writing. We have added our own character to the story and written a description of them.

This morning we have been representing numbers in different ways.  Mrs Hall used Base 10 to represent a 4 digit number to see if we could write the number she had represented. We then challenged our partners to see if they could recognise the number we had created.
