Reflection
We shared a minute of silence with the rest of the country to send our prayers to God.
Llewelyn Xavier artwork in progress
We are trying to create our own 3D interpretation of the famous St Lucia artists 'Sound of the Morning' using recycled bottle tops.
Mr Punctuation
Ruby was quite concerned that we might leave Mr Punctuation in Year One ( as if we would) so insisted in creating her own!
Adder maths
We used our snakes and found out their length in cm then we worked out how many more cm were required to make a 100 cm snake and a 200 cm snake using our knowledge of number bonds and place value.
Snake sensations
We have created our own chain link snakes to support our maths challenge during orientation.
Designs for paint resist wax batik.
Next stage the paint and then the ironing! Can't wait!
Drumming Expert
The focus from Year One was awe inspiring and many are drummers in the making, with a keen ear for the beat and rhythm of the hypnotic drums.
Thirsty Work
Time to rehydrate with an ice pop after a morning of hunting animals, code breaking, African inspired dances and traditional African drumming!
