Apologies due to the dress rehearsal and production alongside other constraints we have needed to move our last mega maths mad minutes to Wednesday. This also means more time to practice! 

Year One watched the KS2 production of Oliver today and described it as epic, awesome, the best ever!

Great news... Three of our children have now moved onto the next challenge, one onto the addition to twenty challenge,  one onto the mad mega mix of addition and subtraction challenge and one whizz kid onto the multiplication and division challenge of twos!

The question of what does seldom mean in our comprehension challenge prompted children to grab a dictionary and find out .

We ventured into our new library and it went down a treat!

On Monday we will be completing the run offs  for sports day (weather permitting) this is so that on Friday when you come to cheer on your child each child knows what they are doing and have an equal chance of winning as we match like abilities together across the different houses. To make sure…

There will be no more spelling tests this academic year. Thank you for all your support at home. The children will commence spellings again in September when they move into Year 2.  

Even in our new classroom the boys grab some time to share a book with a friend or two.
