We started our first science investigation of the new term this afternoon.  We want to find out whether or not plants really do need water in order to grow.

As part of our learning about Mexico and plants in Science we have decided to grow our very own chili plant. Don't worry - the Anaheim chili pepper is of the mild variety!

We have had great fun this week investigating lots of exciting things.  Our favourite experiment was called 'Walking Water' in which we found out about capillary action.

Some of the exciting things that we will be getting up to this week include making a zipline for toys, shrinking eggs and making water walk.
