Look who came to visit us at our party...Father Christmas!

He was really friendly and he even brought us some presents, which we are going to open in the morning.  Libby had a sneaky feel of the parcels and she thinks we've got a fluffy cloud, pyjamas, a tub of sweets and more exciting things.…

A massive thank you to all the grown ups who sent food and drinks for our party.  There was so much it was hard to decide what to have first! In the end we just decided to eat it all!

The story of 'The Widow's Mite' was the theme for this morning's assembly. Parents, children and the wider community have shown their generosity over recent weeks through donations to the school and to the British Legion. We talked about how, whether we are rich or poor, we  can make this a GIVING…

The season of good will... So today's challenge wasn't timed and they still tried to complete it within the two minutes. These are our sparkling superstars who completed their own mega maths challenge and really reached for the stars!

Don't forget Monday 14th December is Year 2 s Christmas party day. The children can wear their own clothes and novelty Christmas hat if they wish. Thank you in advance for all your generosity with help with the party food. Looking forward to seeing their smiley faces when they meet Father…

Before our Celebration Assembly this afternoon we were treated to a short concert from Year 4. Miss Minshall has been teaching brass to the group every Friday this term and the children played (and sang) beautifully. It was a real treat and a great way to start the weekend!  

We are busy making our calendars today. Lots of careful measuring and accuracy needed! 

We all know what's it like after a good Christmas lunch we all need a good sleep!
