In R.E. we have been learning about the Jewish festival of Pesach/Passover. Mr Roth came to visit us and we re-enacted a 'Passover Seder Meal'.

Y6 would like to thank Mr Roth for giving up his time to help us in our learning. 

Year 5 have had fun (and learned a lot) in their Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths (STEM for short) workshop today. With expert guidance from Mr Nick Hawkin  they have built and animated a range of models using computer technology. NB No plastic figures were injured during the filming of…

We had a great time doing different activities with our teddy bears. We've had a picnic, teddy bear blending and played honey pot bear. We even took our bears a ride on the bikes and trikes and to add to the excitement it started to snow!!

On my usual walkabout this morning I found Year 5 absolutely engrossed in their STEM workshop - a bit of science, technology, engineering and maths - all at the same time. They are loving it!

They went, they threw, they jumped, they raced - and then they came back again. Our Year 5 Athletics Team represented the school well at Kearsley Academy this afternoon - showing  great skill and determination - often against older pupils. Well done everyone!
