Sports Day
Please send your child into school tomorrow wearing their full PE kit. They need pumps/trainers, blue PE shorts and their house coloured PE t-shirt. They will also need their school jumper, sun hat, water bottle and book bag.
The children will be in their PE kits all day so do not need to…
Mega Maths Masters
Some of our mathematicians are so close to a certificate I think we'll need to try and snake in a sneaky couple before the end of term!
A group of children working = the lovely Year 2
Today the children researched the name of collective nouns e.g. A cauldron for a group of bats etc.
Rain Stopped Play
Never mind Wimbledon - this wonderful summer weather has stopped our Reception Class playing - they were due to spend the day in Moses Gate Country Park with the Reception Class from All Saints but the weather had other ideas! We're on Plan B.
Preparations for Dress Rehearsal are Underway
Getting ready for our dress rehearsal in front of Y6 from All Saints.
Open Sesame!
It's the 'Opening Day' for our school production of Scheherazade. The cast SOUND great and, thanks to our wonderful ladies in the costume department, they LOOK great as well. Dress rehearsal this morning followed by the first full production at two o'clock - some tickets still…
Book Return
All library books are to be collected in on Wednesday- we have already started collecting the reading books and records...
A Busy Week...
With our Sheherezade productions, sports days and lessons to cram in as well, this could be a very busy - yet fun - week!
Top Table
Top Table was topper than usual on Friday - extra guests which made for an even more enjoyable lunchtime. Well done to ALL our Star Award winners!
Well done for rising to the spelling challenge.
A very tricky set of spellings... keep working on your spellings so that you are ready for Year Three as the challenge continues to increase! Remember there are no more spelling tests in our Year Two classroom for the remainder of the term.
It's getting a bit tall!
During free choice time, some of the children wanted to carry on with their work on measuring from this morning. They decided to work as a group to make the biggest tower possible, it was a gigantic 100cm tall (and that was after the top fell off!)
Well done!
