They Went - They Played - They Returned (Without the Cup)
Our Year Five 6-a-Side team played in a tournament at Kearsley Academy this afternoon.They played well but were narrowly beaten in all three matches - mind you, they were mainly up against Year 6 pupils so I was very proud of them. Well done boys and girls!

An Off Broadway Production
Sometimes it's more like Fame Academy than St Stephen's at playtimes. There's always someone practising a dance routine. This morning our stage was occupied so the girls set up in another corner of the yard - much to the appreciation of their audience.

Some schools have banned them but we don't need to at St Stephen's - children are very sensible about sharing and swapping the football cards and always put them away when it's time to line up and get back to work!
Work Hard Play Hard (in the Sun!)
Beautiful autumn sunshine was the order of the day in Kearsley - no 'indoor play' today, so everyone took full advantage. Year 1 have also chosen a great day for their Autumn Walk to Clifton Marina Country Park.
