Bolton Egyptology
We had a great day at Bolton Museum being historians. We learnt lots to deepen our knowledge about Ancient Egyptian beliefs and artefacts.
Autumnal Collages
During Forest Schools we collected lot's of red berries, black berries, conker shells and leaves.
We then safely used hammers in D.T to hammer these items onto squared pieces of cotton.
We noticed the berries were not the same colour inside. In fact, the red berries were yellow and the blackā¦
The hula hoop sensory science investigation
We used all our senses to find out about our hula hoops. We tried looking, listening, feeling, smelling and finally tasting them to find out the flavour. We found out that we use all our senses when eating. Could you succeed if you had to take the hula hoop challenge using just 1 sense.
Black History Month - Rosa Parks
In class, we looked at Rosa Parks and how in 1955 she took a stand against the unfairness that she saw around her. The children gave really thoughtful and mature responses to questions.
