This morning we have been writing our own superhero stories for a writing competition.  We had to write a full story using only 100 words!

We have had another fantastic rugby lesson with Tom from Leigh Centurians. It was that enjoyable even Steve wanted to join in!

After a fab afternoon at the park with Spindle Point please remember to return PE kits to school as we continue to prepare for the forth coming sports day. The children worked wonderfully together showing real team spirit.

With a big  thank you to all our volunteers who made this possible.

Please could all Year 2 pupils come to school in their PE kit with their school jumper over the top. The event will be outdoors and due to the strange summer we are having a lightweight waterproof coat is advisable alongside a water bottle as the event is outside with little shelter. Thanks again…

This afternoon we have started our topic by talking about the three states of matter; solid, liquid and gas. We have learned about the particles and how they behave in the different states.
