Well done to this week's winners!

Spellings for the week ahead - to be tested Thursday 12th December.

Our 5-a-side squad from Years 3 and 4 took part in a tournament at Kearsley Academy this afternoon. They played five other local schools, were unbeaten and came away with a shiny gold cup for the trophy cabinet. Well Done!

Using our learning on circuits, we are inventing and making games that incorporate our knowledge.

After exploring the original Shakespearean text the children prepared their own version of the events at the infamous banquet when Banquo's ghost appears to Macbeth during his celebratory banquet after his coronation. To cheer up the curator, we have been working in teams to create some artefacts.

Why not ask your child what they have learnt? 

We are studying artefacts from the Wandering Jewish Museum and considering how they link to Manchester.

Ask your child all about it.

A wonderful moment in our Christian calendar as we place our star on the Jesse Tree showing we are all part of one family and share in the start of Advent together as a whole school and reflect in the silence.

Thank you for your support. 

We were lucky enough to have Manchester Jewish Museum visit us today to learn more about the Jewish faith. We looked at the similarities between different faiths and began to make links, we all found it very interesting.

As the period of Advent begins we  have had our Jesse Tree Assembly, remembering that we are all part of God’s family.
