As part of our scientific learning about forces, we took part in a Junior STEM workshop which focussed on gears and pulleys.  It was BRILLIANT!

We started our new art unit today. Here we are analysing and learning about  a range of different  examples of Chinese art.  The children really enjoyed this activity.

This morning, Year Five lead the Harvest Festival Worship in Church and were MAGNIFICENT.  Well done!!!

Here we are being scientists! We have been investigating gravity as part of our learning about forces

Here we are taking part in a PSHE Life Bus workshop.

Here we are having a computing lesson with our specialist teacher.  We are developing our knowledge and understanding of Coding.

We have started our Year Five journey by reading the Iron Man by Ted Hughes.  Here we are working together to record everything that we know about the Iron Man in preparation for a piece of writing.

WELCOME BACK  TO SCHOOL!!!

I just know that we are going to have a magical year in Year Five!
