We use our reading bookmarks in class every time we read our reading books or have a 'talk for reading' session.

Year Four's planting area is now ready to be filled with plants.  We will be discussing what types of plants we want and how we might find them.

In computing we have been learning about coding.  Mr Choudry asked us to write a set of instructions for a computer to make a bowl of cereal. It was much more complicated than we thought!

Following our topic last half term these two decided to create the union flag using pegs and a peg board. Very impressive!

This afternoon we have been investigating different materials. We picked an item from a bag and described them in 3 different ways.  We discussed the different materials and sorted the objects into different categories.

We have been thinking about heroes. We have written everything we can think of to do with the word hero.

In class we are beginning to look at Superheroes.  Today we have used adjectives to describe some of our favourite heroes.  We are really looking forward to what might be coming up!

We have created our own water cycle diagrams using craft materials.

We have really enjoyed our final brass lesson before Easter!

We are having a competition in class. The children are working in groups of 4 and solving 12 Easter numeracy problems in a relay race. It is really testing their problem solving skills!

This half term year 4 have been looking at the United Kingdom.  We have learned all about the countries in the United Kingdom and the capital cities. This afternoon we have been creating our own information leaflets to add to our 'Where in the UK would I like to live?'…
