This morning we have been learning how to write a 'Verb, person' sentence.
Healthy Lifestyles
This afternoon we have had a visit from Mrs Mason. She talked to us about how we can live a healthy lifestyle including a healthy balanced diet, exercise and oral hygiene. The children listened and joined in with the discussions really well.
Horrid Characters
This morning we have been creating our own characters for the Horrid Henry stories. We made sure our character names were alliterative, just like in the story.
Black History Month
October is Black History Month. We have watched a Newsround report this morning and talked about racism.
Horrid English
Today we have started our new focus in English of stories in familiar settings. We are going to be looking at the Horrid Henry books by Francesca Simon.
Computing pt2
In the second part of our computing session we have been set a challenge. This time using a programme called ScratchJr.
Computing
This morning we are in the computing suite. We have been talking about sequencing and orders. We are using the programme Scratch to begin our learning all about coding.
A Great Start!
We have had a lovely first day, we've sampled some Maths, English and a bit of creative drawing inspired by 'The Dot' by Peter H Reynolds.
