Don't we look fab! We have had a great Mexican Day and taken part in lots of exciting activities. 

Well done to our youngest and newest bronze award winners for their rapid recall of multiplication and division facts!

We took advantage of the good weather to go outside for our maths lesson, using water to estimate capacity and then checking using measuring cylinders. We found out how accurate our estimates were by calculating the difference.

Today we made an Equivalent Fractions Museum in our classroom and we had fun working on our exhibits using the Maths skills we have learned this week.

Leah tried to measure our longest bean - it was tricky because it wasn't straight! With Bailey's good idea to use a strip of paper to follow the curve of the beanpod, we found that our longest bean measured 24.9 cm!

Today some children went out to the Eco Garden with Miss Clegg to harvest the beans we planted there. When they came back what a surprise we all had! Look at Year 3's bumper crop!
