Year 3 Blog

We have been measuring our height and feet this afternoon so we can find out how much we grow throughout the year.  

We made the most of the warm September sunshine and went outside to practise our football skills.

This afternoon we are using the iPads to research cave paintings before we create one of our very own.

We have had a fabulous day in Year 3 today. It was wonderful to see everyone after the summer break and we look forward to all of the great and exciting days to come.

We couldn't believe our eyes this morning when we saw how much our beetroot has grown. We can't wait to try them after the holidays.

Erin made a piñata and a Cascarón as part of her learning log and, this morning, we took them outside to play with. We had a lot of fun using them and want to thank Erin for her wonderful hard work.

The weather was much better today so we went outside to play with the piñata.  We each took turns to try to break it. It was much harder than it looked!

So far this morning we have solved some mathematical problems, written letters and are now showing off our computing skills!

We are being super scientists this afternoon as want to find out whether taller children have larger feet and a wider handspan.
