We have been learning about compass points today and that there are 90 degrees in a quarter turn.

Here we are getting ready to plan a piece of  writing based on Harry Potter

We warmed our brains up in maths this morning using a carrier bag from Tesco! Their recipe bags give the children a wonderful opportunity to practice their scaling problem solving skills.

While you are in the hall next week for your child's progress meeting why not take the opportunity to explore our curriculum boards and discover your child's strength depicted upon them. Every child in school is represented on a board. Can you find their work?

We have been learning about perpendicular and parallel lines today so we took part in the 'line rave' dance before looking for perpendicular and parallel lines on different national flags.

Ps, I am sure that the children would love to do the line rave dance at home!

We have had an exciting time this afternoon learning about grammar.

We have been finding out which surfaces allow a toy car to travel quickly.

We had a brilliant time at the Museum of Science and Industry. The workshop was really exciting and we had a wonderful time exploring the museum.
