Getting to know (the new) Year 4
This morning Year 3 (soon to be Year 4) have been sharing lots about themselves with Miss Wright, in preparation for September.
Sunny Fractions
It was much too warm to stay inside today so we had our maths lesson in the Eco garden instead. We had to find as many examples of fractions in nature as we could.
Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night
Today we have been learning about Van Gogh. We experimented with working in a similar way and tried to recreate his Starry Night painting.
Watercolour Painting
We took part in a watercolour masterclass this morning and learned how to paint a beach scene using watercolour paint. It was great fun!
Papel Cortado
We have learned about Papel Cortado today and decided to have a go ourselves. It was a lot trickier than we thought but we all agreed that the bunting does make out classroom look quite colourful and Mexican.
Cereal Box Request

Marvellous Measuring
We are working with our groups today and are applying our knowledge of measurement to measure our hands, feet, forearms and heads before placing them in order of size.
Learning Logs
We have had a fabulous time looking at our learning logs. They are absolutely wonderful! Thank-you for all of your hard work and imaginative thinking.
