Easter Bonnet Parade
Remember to make your Easter Bonnet over the weekend. Your hat is an important part of our Easter celebrations. Our parade will take place this Thursday alongside our special Easter assembly. Eveyone is welcome, see you there!

Balancing Act
Today in gym we experimented using different balances thinking carefully about our core muscles.
Kits come home
It's that time of year... The children will be bringing home their P.E kits for their half termly wash. Please return on the 13/4/15 and also check that outdoor footwear fits as we will be commencing our athletics and games module when we return after our Easter break.
Planning our recount
Today we have been planning our recounts. We used pictures to represent our science missions to support our recounts tomorrow. Take a look at Isabelle's, Ruby's and Julian's.
Our first P.A.W Winner.
A massive well done to Libby Swanick for being our first ever Year 1 P.A.W winner. Libby has shown pride in all her work. P.A.W stands for pride in all work and it is a difficult award to gain. Mrs Robinson and I are very proud of you.
Hair Raising
Year 1 are feeling energised by science week just take a look at our hair. We used static energy to create impressive results!
Floating Flowers
We used our knowledge of fractions to create our flowers. We then timed the absorption rates of different papers. Without touching our flowers they began to open, the thicker the paper the slower the flower unfurled.
Catch the Birdie
We found out that when 2 images move really fast that our brain gets confused and only sees 1 image. We caught our bird in it's cage.
Slime Time
The children created gloop and explored the different properties of solids and liquids. We found out gloop is very confused.
Money Laundering
We experimented using different solutions to clean old copper coins.
