This week we are learning about making arrays and then using them to help with our multiplication work.

Over the past few days we have been busy working on creating some Batik artwork.  We had to create two designs and pick our favourite.  Once we had picked our favourite we traced over the lines on to fabric with wax.  We had to wait until the wax was dry so that we could use different dyes to…

After getting very messy when we first started painting we have made some aprons and covered the tables!

Our models are now starting to take shape...can you tell what we are making?

Last week we started painting our paper mache models.  We had lots of fun, but got rather messy!

This morning we have been busy completing our independent learning to show what we have learned about nocturnal animals.  We worked with our friends and used lots of different resources to help us.

After a very busy morning we have finally finished, we just need our masterpieces to dry before we can paint and finish them.

Next we need to add the balloons!

We are very intrigued as to what it's going to turn in to! 

To help us with our work on recognising numbers we have been playing Bingo! We all had to listen carefully and concentrate to make sure we didn't miss any of our numbers.  It was lots of fun!

We have been busy planting some sunflowers and watering them.  How tall do you think they will grow?

This week in Year 2 we have had lots of really hard work to do.  Most of us think that playing with the parachute was the hardest thing of all!  We had to work together to keep the ball in the correct place!
